Tony Hawk

Bio:
Tony Hawk (born Anthony Frank Hawk in Carlsbad, California on May 12, 1968) is an American professional skateboarder. In 1999, Tony was the first skater to land a “900” skateboarding trick after his twelfth attempt. The documented move gave him a lot of credibility within the skate community. In 2009, Tony was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame at its inaugural ceremony. From then on, he made a number of appearances at major events, the White House, and picked up many sponsorships from Quicksilver, Bones, and Nixon. Tony has also made business ventures in the video game industry, television, and amusement parks. One of his most lucrative businesses is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, the video game series which has spawned more than 18 titles including ten main series titles, and four spin-offs since its debut in 1999. On June 27, 2016, Tony performed what he claimed would be his last “900” at the age of 48. The successful move was documented and uploaded to his YouTube channel, RIDE.

Personal Life:
Tony married his first wife and high school sweetheart, Cindy Dunbar in 1990. The couple had one son together before divorcing in 1993. Tony then married his second wife, Erin Lee in 1996. The two also had two sons together, before divorcing in 2004. After marrying his third wife, Lhotse Merriam in 2006, the couple had one child, Tony’s first daughter in 2008. Tony and Lhotse divorced in 2011. The pro skater married his fourth wife, Kathy Goodman on June 28, 2015 in a ceremony in Ireland. Tony and his extended family currently live in San Diego, California.
