Molly O’Malia (born in 2001 in Delaware) is an aspiring singer and model. Molly was thrust into the spotlight in Dec. 2015 when she was the subject of an OK! Magazine report that claimed she was flirting with rapper Tyga. In a Jan. 2016 press conference, Molly, joined by attorney Gloria Allred, gave her side of the story. The teen confirmed that she and Tyga spoke, but their relationship was brief and not at all sexual. Tyga contacted her first via Instagram and she thought it was about her growing music career. When he attempted to video chat with Molly, she grew uncomfortable and stopped responding to him. During the press conference, Molly trashed the magazine for not hiding her identity better and for not double-checking the reporting with Molly or her mother. There was no mention of a lawsuit during the Jan. event. Tyga’s manager confirmed that he indeed reached out to Molly, but that it was purely for business and that during the interaction, Molly claimed to be 17-years-old.
