Alex Karev REALLY messed up tattling on Meredith Grey to Owen Hunt, and now he has to face the repercussions. Will you ever forgive him?
Like all huge jerks who are secretly sweet but like to cover it up with bad boy tendencies, Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) holds a special place in my heart. I’ve forgiven Alex for a lot of things, most notably not being there at all for Lexie Grey when she had a meltdown, but on the last Grey’s Anatomy season finale I began to wonder — did Alex go too far this time?

Yesterday Shonda Rhimes tweeted she hoped Patrick and Ellen would renew their Grey’s Anatomy contracts which expire after this upcoming season, and then the pair went to dinner! Coincidence? I hope not!
When news broke that Patrick Dempsey might not renew his contract for Grey’s Anatomy, I nearly lost it. What would Seattle Grace be without Mer and Der? But there’s still hope that Patrick and Ellen Pompeo could sign up for more seasons, and yesterday Shonda Rhimes tweeted “hope they stay” in reference to the two lead characters, admitting her heart would break if they left. Then, hours later, Patrick and Ellen went to dinner together at Dan Tana’s in LA. Maybe it’s my ridiculous Grey’s obsession clouding my judgment but could they have been discussing contract negotiations? Or made a top secret pact that they would both make the same decision? Something that could work to fans’ advantage … or extreme disadvantage.

After weeks of major shakeups, Grey’s Anatomy took a turn for the normal Nov. 11. Some patients in the hospital survived, others died and the doctors’ relationships were a complete and utter mess (per usual). However, Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) didn’t come crawling back  to the hospital (like we thought she would) and April Kepner (Sarah Drew) finally let her guard down (and took her shirt off!). Other than that, the most exciting aspect of this week’s episode was next week’s preview! It looked nuts!

Can you imagine actually loving gaining weight?

Ellen Pompeo is loving the perks that come from being a mom. In addition to caring for her adorable daughter Stella, the Grey’s Anatomy star – who has been frequently criticized for her slender frame – is finding a new appreciation for her pregnancy weight gain.

“I went up a pants size during my pregnancy. I was a size 25 in jeans and went to 26. I gained 26 pounds!” the 40-year-old actress says in the new issue of Self magazine.
