Though she never intended to be an actor, Anna gave it a shot, and she had her breakout role in 2000’s Scary Movie. She would reprise her role for three sequels to the horror-parody. Anna started to gain critical praise for her dramatic performances in movies like May, Lost In Translation, Brokeback Mountain and Waiting…, with Ryan Reynolds. In the late 2000s, Anna continued her comedic work, appearing in My Super-Ex Girlfriend, Mama’s Boy, and The House Bunny. Anna began voice work, lending her talents to animated features like Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and the revival of the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise. In 2013, Anna was cast in the main role of the CBS sitcom, Mom. It was both a success with critics and fans. In 2015, she launched the Unqualified podcast, an advice program, and she published a memoir of the same name in 2017.
