Taran Killam (born Taran Hourie Killam in Culver City, California on April 1, 1982) is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, singer, and writer. Taran got his start as a comedian and an actor when he appeared on Nickelodeon’s sketch-comedy show, The Amanda Show. From then on, he joined the cast of MADtv from 2001 to 2002. He was the youngest cast member to ever get hired on the show. After his stint on MADtv, Taran appeared in a handful of TV shows and movies. He notably starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs, Drake & Josh, Scrubs, and many others. Taran joined Saturday Night Live for its 36th season in 2010 and has been there ever since!

Taran Killam is married to Canadian actress Colbie Smulders. The two dated for several years and got engaged in January 2009. Taran and Colbie finally tied the knot on September 8, 2012 in Solvang, California. The couple have two kids together, both girls. Their first daughter, Shaelyn Cado Killam, was born May 14, 2009 and their second daughter, whose name has not been revealed, was born January 2015.
