Armie Hammer (born Armand Douglas Hammer on August 28, 1986 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor who has starred in numerous films, including The Lone Ranger, Mirror Mirror, and J. Edgar. Armie has one sibling, a younger brother named Viktor. He spent his formative years growing up in the Cayman Islands, and later in life dropped out of high school to become an actor. Armie got his start in television on hits such as Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives, but eventually made his way onto the big screen where he always dreamed of being. Surprisingly, Armie has revealed that his parents allegedly disowned him after he dropped out of school, but now fully support him and his acting career.
Best Known For:
Armie made his first splash in Hollywood when he starred as the Winklevoss twins in the critically acclaimed 2010 hit, The Social Network.
Personal Life:
Armie and his wife, Elizabeth Chambers, wed on May 22, 2010 after being introduced by mutual friend, Tyler Ramsey. Four years later on Dec. 1, 2014, the happy couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, Harper Hammer.
