will.i.am headlines Fairmont El San Juan Hotel’s Memorial Day Weekend — will.i.am poses during the exclusive Memorial Day Weekend Event at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel on May 27, 2022 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Black Eyed Peas star and renowned rapper lead a series of events held at the stunning property over the weekend with his DJ set in The Lobby. The glam event also included a red carpet, 360 photo booth and bottle service with Veuve Clicquot and Dom Pérignon.

For the event, the Los Angeles native — née William James Adams Jr. — wore a pink baseball cap and t-shirt along with casual black pants, a vest and sneakers.

The weekend’s festivities also had a philanthropic tie in with the PRS Festival (Puerto Rock Steady Music Festival). The event is known to be a “a party with a purpose” as they support the Boys & Girls Club of Puerto Rico to help fund educational programs in local communities.

The Fairmont El San Juan Hotel is just steps away from downtown San Juan at the postward-worthy Isla Verde Beach. Old meets new at the idyllic property, which was revered for their events in the 1960s with some of the most legendary performers in history like Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Eddie Fischer and more.
