‘What We Do In The Shadows’

‘What We Do In The Shadows’ — Based on the 2014 mockumentary by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ first aired in 2019, expanding on the premise of vampires and supernatural beings existing in the modern world. Taking the series from New Zealand to Staten Island, ‘WWDITS’ introduced audiences to vampires Nandor the Relentless (Kayvan Novak), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), and Laszlo (Matt Berry). Along with Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch), an energy vampire, and familiar Guillermo de la Cruz (Harvey Guillén), the ‘WWDITS’ series has been a bloodsucking good time, showing the highs and lows of vampire life.

The show has featured a range of recurring stars – Doug Jones, Anthony Atamanuik, Kristen Schaal, Nick Kroll – and guest appearances from icons like Wesley Snipes, Paul Reubens, Tilda Swinton, Mark Hamil, Vanessa Bayer, Fred Armisen, Cree Summer, Benedict Wong, Haley Joel Osment, and Danny Trejo.

In June 2022, the show was renewed for a fifth and sixth season.
