This is your family. The Interrupters — Justin Bivona, Aimee Interrupter, Kevin Bivona, Jesse Bivona – have been delivering their flavor of ska-punk since 2011. Formed shortly after when Aimee (under her solo artist name, Aimee Mann) met the Bivona brothers in 2009, the Interrupters began touring as a support band for Rancid, The Transplants, and Devil’s Brigade. Kevin’s works as a producer connected the band with Tim Armstrong. The group often played as part of the Tim Timebomb and Friends project. The partnership led to the band releasing their debut album (and subsequent releases) on Hellcat records.

 

2014 saw the release of the band’s self-titled album, which they followed up with ‘Say It Out Loud’ (2016) and ‘Fight The Good Fight’ (2018). The band quickly developed a devoted following, thanks to the group’s energetic music and Aimee’s captivating lyrics. After the COVID-19 pandemic forced the group to shift their recording perspectives, they created ‘In The Wild,’ an album that saw them take their songwriting skills to the next level.
