‘Star Trek: Discovery’ season 3 premiered Oct. 15, 2020. The show picks up after Commander Burnham went into the wormhole in the season 2 finale. Season 3 finds the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery landing in an unknown future far from the home they once knew. Now living in a time filled with uncertainty, the U.S.S. Discovery crew, along with the help of some new friends, must work together to restore hope to the Federation. Burnham crosses paths with Cleveland ‘Book’ Booker, a new character played by David Ajala. He’s agreed to help her find her crew and fill in the gaps of what she doesn’t know. Following the premiere, new episodes of the 13-episode long third season will be released weekly on Thursdays, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.
