Sigourney Weaver, born October 8, 1949, is an actress, known for her roles in iconic sci-fi films like the ‘Alien’, ‘Ghostbusters’, and ‘Avatar’ franchises. She has won a British Academy Film Award, two Golden Globe Awards and earned nominations for three Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards, and three Tony Awards. Other notable roles include ‘Gorillas In the Mist’, ‘Working Girl’, ‘1492: Conquest Of Paradise,’ and ‘The Ice Storm’. She’s also voiced characters in animated hits like ‘The Tale of Despereaux’ (2008), ‘WALL-E’ (2008). ‘Finding Dory’ (2016), ‘Spongebob Squarepants’, and more.
