Femme fatale! Sherilyn Fenn is an American actress and writer, born Feb. 1, 1965. The Detroit native started her career in B-movies after attending the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute following a move to LA as a teen. Her big break was in 1990 when she was cast as the enigmatic Audrey Horne in David Lynch’s TV series Twin Peaks. Sherilyn became adored for the coquettish character, who was known for her flirty manner and 50s-chic costumes. She would earn an Emmy and a Golden Globe nomination for her role.
Following Twin Peaks, Sherilyn appeared in Lynch’s Wild At Heart as well as an adaptation of the John Steinbeck novel ‘Of Mice And Men’. She starred in the series Rude Awakening, about a washed-up former soap opera actress, from 1998 to 2001. Since then, she’s worked on a number of TV hits, appearing on Gilmore Girls, Ray Donovan, and Shameless on multi-episode story arcs.
