Scotty McCreery & Gabi Dugal Are Couple Goals — Scotty McCreery made a name for himself in the country music scene when he auditioned for the tenth season of American Idol at the age of 16. He sang “Your Man” by Josh Turner and “Put Some Drive in Your Country” by Travis Tritt and instantly blew the judges away. In the show’s finale, the aspiring artist garnered nearly 750 million votes and was crowned the winner, which made him the youngest male ever to win on the show at just 17 years old.

Before McCreery gained all his fame from the popular singing competition, he was just a small town boy attending Garner Magnet High School in North Carolina. As a kindergartener at Timber Drive Elementary school, he met his future wife Gabi Dugal, who he started dating at the age of 18.

The couple dated for 6 years until the “This Is It” singer popped the question in September 2017 at their favorite hiking spot. They tied the knot in June 2018.
