Sammy Sosa — Sammy Sosa can be seen in a photo from his years in Major League Baseball and in a more recent photo of him at an event. The incredible athlete has gone through quite the transformation over the years.

Sammy, who is from the Dominican Republic, is best known as a professional baseball player who retired in 2007. He played in Major League Baseball for 19 seasons, with the biggest impact being made when he was part of the Chicago Cubs. He joined the Cubs in 1992 and quickly became one of the best hitters in the game.

One of Sammy’s most memorable seasons is the one in 1998 when he went neck in neck with fellow player Mark McGwire to try and break Roger Maris’ single-season home run record of 61 home runs. Although he ultimately wasn’t the one to do it, he ended with an amazing total of 66 home runs, proving he’ll go down as one of the most memorable players in history.
