Though he has never played a single game in the NFL, Robert Kraft is considered one of the most powerful men in American football. As the owner of the New England Patriots, Kraft has watched the struggling team become one of the most dominant franchises in the sport’s history. As the chairman and chief executive officer of the Kraft Group — a company that first specialized in paper and packaging products but has since invested in sports, entertainment and real estate — Robert is worth an estimated $6.6 billion (Sept. 2018).
Robert purchased the New England Patriots, a team he had followed since their American Football League days, in 1994. Under his ownership, the team has experienced new founded success, including six Super Bowls by 2019.
The Massachusetts native married Myra Nathalie Hiatt, and remained with her until her death from ovarian cancer in 2011. The couple had four sons together. In 2012, he began dating actress Ricki Noell Lander, 39 years his junior.
