Rita Moreno — Rita Moreno has had an incredibly successful career that’s spanned TV, film, music, and theater. She’s one of 16 people to ever achieve the coveted EGOT, which is someone who’s won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony award. She received the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award in 1962 for ‘West Side Story.’ She took home a Grammy in 1972 for Best Recording for Children for ‘The Electric Company’ album. She won a Tony in 1975 for Best Featured or Supporting Actress in a Play for her performance in ‘The Ritz.’ She’s won two Emmy awards for Outstanding Continuing or Single Performance by a Supporting Actress in Variety or Music for ‘The Muppet Show’ in 1977, and again for Outstanding Lead Actress for a Single Appearance in a Drama or Comedy Series for her performance on ‘The Rockford Files.’ It’s safe to say Rita has had a marvelous career in entertainment.
