Ariana Grande performs at NYC Pride Dance on the Pier — The 2015 NYC Pride events were truly something to behold. So many stars came out in support of the LGBTQIA+ community and attendants had an amazing time! Pride coincides with the month of June, which was chosen as the month for Pride following the 1969 Stonewall Riot at the Stonewall Inn bar in New York City. So many members of the LGBTQIA+ community stood together in solidarity and fought back against violent, patriarchal institutions that wanted to continue to treat them inhumanely.

All these years later, Pride is a celebration across the country and there’s no better place to celebrate than in New York City! The stars seriously show up for Pride in the city that never sleeps, and the year 2015 was no exception. Ariana Grande performed, Frankie Grande introduced her, and Ruby Rose djed!
