Nicolas Cage & Riko Shibata: Photos Of The Couple Expecting A Child Together — Riko Shibata may be Nicolas Cage’s fifth wife, but she really seems to be his match. The two met at the beginning of 2020 in Shinga, Japan, and then spent some time in New York City together before the coronavirus lockdown. At that time, Riko, who is 31 years Nic’s junior, returned to her native Japan, while Nicolas was in Nevada. However, they kept the love alive and got engaged via FaceTime in Aug. 2020, despite not seeing each other for six months at the time.

In Feb. 2021, Nicolas and Riko secretly got married in Las Vegas, although news of their nuptials did not go public until early March. Following the wedding, they were back in New York City.

Although the two remain fairly low-key about their relationship, they did take a big step by walking their first red carpet together at the premiere of Pig in July 2021, pictured here.

The couple announced they were expecting a child, her first and his third, on Jan. 6, 2022, one day before his 58th birthday. Their daughter was born in Sep. 2022.
