Naomi Osaka, born October 16, 1997, is an ace tennis player. The athlete plays for Japan and is a former world #1 and four-time Grand Slam champion. Naomi arrived on the international stage at the 2018 US Open, where she defeated her idol, Serena Williams, in a contentious straight sets win. She followed up her victory by winning the 2019 Australian Open. She has also won the 2020 US Open and 2021 Australian Open.
Along with her work on the court, Naomi has become an outspoken activist, using her platform to highlight social injustices and mental health. She has also become a fashion icon and used her influence to make a major cultural impact, highlighting tennis and her talent as a result.
In January 2023, the star announced she was pregnant on social media. She gave fans a life update, sharing a sonogram as she revealed why she was skipping the Australian open. She and her boyfriend, American rapper Cordae, have been together since 2019
