Michelle Young’s Hottest Looks On ‘The Bachelorette’: Gorgeous Gowns & More — As this season of ‘The Bachelorette’ winds down, it’s no wonder why Michelle Young has won the hearts of so many men. The elementary school teacher has stunned throughout her season, donning gowns, exercise attire, and everything in between.

Michelle was first introduced to the world appearing as a contestant on season 25 of ‘The Bachelor’ in 2021. She dated Matt James on the show, but he dumped her ahead of the final rose ceremony when he chose to be with Rachael Kirkconnell instead. After the season ended, though, Michelle was announced as the lead for season 18 of ‘The Bachelorette.’ A fellow contestant, Katie Thurston, was the lead for the show’s 17th season.

Michelle’s season filmed throughout the summer of 2021 and aired in the fall. During her time on the show, Michelle wore a number of gorgeous looks. Whether she was in a gown at a rose ceremony or in a more casual outfit on a day date, Michelle came to slay.

“…That also shows commitment,” she added, “And he was dead set on making an impression. He showed me his goofy side. He made me laugh. I mean, he really kinda won, if you think about it. It was memorable. It really was.”

“I was surprised by how open Michelle was to falling in love with more than one person,” said Kaitlyn. “Usually you have to talk people into it or they feel guilty, but she was just open and she didn’t feel any shame around it. Michelle was just honest and was like, ‘This is how I feel.’ That was surprising because a lot of people don’t want to admit that.”

Talking about the pressure of making a good first impression with Entertainment Tonight ahead of the season premiere, she admitted it could be difficult to start on the right foot. “I think the hardest part with all of these situations coming in, it truly is your first impression,” she said.

“I have some good friends who I didn’t have a good first impression with them and now we are extremely close. I think it was hard because you are trying to make a decision that is best for you, and you want to fall in love and you want to make sure you don’t send the wrong person home.”

Talking about bringing the men to her hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota, she told Entertainment Tonight, “When you’re able to go to someone’s hometown, you learn so much about them from the experiences that they’ve had. For me, it was actually being able to actually show the men and see how they fit in those pieces of your life [rather] than just talking about it.”

She said the connections were able to deepen after their initial time in Palm Springs, California. “When we were in the middle of the desert, you’re getting to know them and you talk about all these different things, and you talk about where you come from, and how you grew up and your experiences,” she continued. “But being in Minnesota, I was finally able to show them that, and that’s when I really realized how much I was invested.”
