Matt Lauer served as the co-anchor on NBC’s morning talk show, the ‘Today’ Show, from 1997 until 2017, when he was fired after allegations of sexual misconduct. During his time at NBC, Matt hosted events like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Christmas in Rockefeller Center.
Matt Lauer also served as a contributor for NBC News during the 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016 Olympics. Matt has three kids with his ex, Annette Roque, who he divorced in 2019. They were separated for nearly two years before the divorce was finalized. In October 2019, the woman who accused Matt of sexual misconduct, Brooke Nevils, came forward to detail her allegations in full. In a book called Catch and Kill, by Ronan Farrow, Brooke accused Matt of anally raping her while they were in Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
