Brie Larson — Brie Larson, who plays Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel) in the MCU, won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Room, in 2016. It was the first time she was even nominated for an Oscar.

Angelina Jolie — Angelina Jolie played Thena in Eternals. Early in her career she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in Girl, Interrupted (1999.)

Lupita Nyong’o — Lupita Nyong’o played fierce warrior Nakia in 2018’s Black Panther and she reprised her role in the sequel. She won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2012 for 12 Years a Slave.

Russell Crowe — Russell Crowe was godly as Zeus in Thor: Love & Thunder. His Best Actor trophy was for another anciently-inspired film. He won an Oscar for 2001’s Gladiator.

Jared Leto — Jared Leto earned an Oscar for 2013’s Dallas Buyer’s Club. His turn as the MCU’s Dr. Michael Morbius (2021) was less impressive.

Natalie Portman — Natalie Portman played Jane Foster, a scientist who discovers Thor, and becomes his love interest, in the Thor movies. Jamie Foxx — Jamie Foxx’s character Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 returned for MCU’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. The multi-talented actor won an Oscar for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the 2005 biopic Ray.

Jennifer Connelly — Jennifer Connelly doesn’t have any screentime in the MCU, but she did lend her voice to the AI system “Karen” in 2017′s Spider-Man: Homecoming. The star won Best Supporting Actress for A Beautiful Mind (2002.)

Christian Bale — After his run as DC’s Batman, Christian Bale crossed lines to the Marvel world to play Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love & Thunder. He won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for 2011’s The Fighter.

Riz Ahmed — Riz Ahmed played nemesis Carlton Drake, AKA Riot, in 2018’s Venom. His Oscar was for his short film, 2022’s The Long Goodbye.
