‘Mare of Easttown’ — The new TV show you won’t be able to stop watching is titled ‘Mare of Easttown.’ ‘Mare of Easttown’ is a new limited series that premieres April 18 on HBO. The show stars Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe-winning actress Kate Winslet in her major return to TV. She plays Mare Sheehan, a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as life crumbles around her. ‘Mare of Easttown’ is an exploration into the dark side of a close community and an authentic examination of how family and past tragedies can define our present. The 7-episode limited series also stars Evan Peters, Guy Pearce, Julianne Nicholson, Angourie Rice, Jean Smart, Sosie Bacon, Jack Mulhern, and more. ‘Mare of Easttown’ was created, written, and executive produced by Brad Ingelsby.
