2019 amfAR Gala Los Angeles — The 2019 amfAR Gala in Los Angeles took place on October 10 at Milk Studios. amfAR is the Foundation for AIDS Research. It is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to supporting research for AIDS, along with HIV prevention, advocacy of AIDS-related public policy and treatment education for the disease. A majority of money raised for amfAR is through fundraising events, like galas hosted all over the world. These events are usually filled with celebrities, and stars like Eva Longoria, Cara Santana, Paris Jackson and many more attended the soiree in L.A. in 2019. With ticket sales and auctions, amfAR has raised millions of dollars at their galas. Other amfAR galas have been held in New York City, Milan, Cannes, Sao Paulo and Hong Kong. The stars at this year’s L.A. amfAR Gala dressed to the nines, and were photographed walking the event’s red carpet before heading inside.
