Laura Dern is an American actress, born in Los Angeles, California on February 10, 1967, to a mother and father who were both actors.

Her first success as a young actress came in 1980, with a role in Adrian Lyne’s Foxes, a teen movie starring Jodie Foster. She is best known for her roles in ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘Wild’, ‘Blue Velvet’, ‘Rambling Rose’, ‘Wild at Heart’, ‘Big Little Lies’, and ‘Marriage Story’. She has won four Golden Globe Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award, and one Oscar.

Laura is an activist and supporter of various charities, such as Healthy Child Healthy World. Laura married Ben Harper in December 2005. He filed for divorce in October 2010. They have two children together, son Ellery Walker (born August 21, 2001) and daughter Jaya (born November 28, 2004). She’s been romantically linked to stars including, Kyle MacLachlan, Nicolas Cage, Baron Davis, Renny Harlin, Jeff Goldblum, and Billy Bob Thornton.
