Keira Knightley: Photos of ‘Pirates’ Star — Keira Knightley, born March 26, 1985 is an Oscar-nominated British actress. Keira started acting when she was very young and one of her first big roles was as Sabé in ‘Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace.’ She went on to star as Jules in the film ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ before getting a major role in 2003.

In 2003, Keira starred in the blockbuster hit ‘Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl’ alongside Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush. Two years later, she earned her very first Academy Award nomination for her role as Elizabeth Bennet in ‘Pride & Prejudice.’ She reprised her role in the subsequent ‘Pirates’ films, and pursued other projects like ‘Atonement,’ ‘Anna Karenina,’ and ‘The Imitation Game,’ for which she earned her second Oscar nomination.
