Kate Winslet has been a Hollywood staple since 1997’s ‘Titanic.’ Look back at some of her biggest films and moments, including her Oscar win for Best Actress.

From her debut in 1994’s ‘Heavenly Creatures,’ Kate Winslet has been a titan on the silver and small screen. Landing her debut TV role at age 15 (on the British television series ‘Dark Season’), Kate became a household name in the late-1990s for her roles in ‘Sense and Sensibility’ (where she received her first nominations for the Academy Awards and Golden Globes. She also won her first BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild awards for her portrayal of Marianna Dashwood) as well as ‘Titanic’. The latter made her a superstar and forever tied her to her on-screen costar, Leonardo DiCaprio.

Since then, she shifted gears and appeared in ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,’ ‘Finding Neverland,’ and ‘Revolutionary Road.’ In 2008, she landed a role in ‘The Reader,’ and though the film received mixed reviews, Kate won the Academy Award for Best Actress.
