Kate Upton & Justin Verlander — Pics — These two have hit a homerun when it came to romance (which is probably not the right metaphor, considering he’s a pitcher.) Justin Verlander, a multiple-time MLB All-Star and World Series champion, found love with model-actress Kate Upton. Kate is best known for appearing in the 2011 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was the cover model for the 2012, 2013 and 2017 edition. She’s also appeared in movies like Tower Heist, The Other Woman and The Layover. The two started dating in early 2014, back when Justin was pitching for the Detroit Tigers. The romance led to an engagement in 2016. In 2017, two days after Justin and the Houston Astros won the World Series for the first time in the club’s history, he and Kate married in a medieval church in Tuscany, Italy. A year later, Kate announced that she was pregnant with their first child. They welcomed their daughter, Genevieve, later that year.
