Julianne Moore, born December 3, 1960, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, U.S, is an acclaimed actress, known for her dramatic skills and stunning good looks. She got her start on the daytime TV scene as a regular on ‘As the World Turns’. From there she cemented her role as a star with roles in with Robert Altman’s ‘Short Cuts’ (1993) and ‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’ (1997). The 2000s were an awards spree for the actress, who earned Oscar nominations for ‘Boogie Nights’ (1997), ‘The End of the Affair’ (1999), ‘Far from Heaven’, (2002) and ‘The Hours’ (2002).

Her other hit films include ‘The Big Lebowski’ (1998), ‘Magnolia’ (1999), ‘Hannibal’ (2001), ‘Children of Men’ (2006), ‘A Single Man’ (2009), ‘The Kids Are All Right’ (2010), ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ (2011), the last two ‘Hunger Games’ films (2014 to 2015), and ‘Still Alice’ (2014), for which she won an Oscar.
