Jude Law’s son Rafferty Law pictured enjoying a smoke with friends at celebrity-owned London pub The Walmer Castle, which is co-owned by former footballer David Beckham and film director Guy Ritchie, is in Notting Hill.

Rafferty is Jude’s eldest, born in Oct. 1996. He is an actor and a DJ, who appeared in the edgy Oliver Twist update ‘Twist’ and will be seen in the Apple TV+ mini-series ‘Masters Of The Air’.

Rafferty told the Evening Standard his family gave him a lot of independence. “[They] let me sit back and find my own path … without also making me feel like they’re not there,” he said.

Joking about what she wanted to be when she grew up with i-D magazine in 2017, she said, “I wanted to be an underwater vet. I’m not sure I even knew what that meant, I think I wanted to have a vet shop under the sea, and then I wanted to be a chef for a little bit.”

Rudy appeared in the short film ‘Dotty’ alongside his mother in 2013. Film critic Leoni Kibbey said that Rudy’s performance “is brave and exciting and it’s super clear he’s following in his parents’ footsteps. He has the Jude twinkle in his eye and looks as if he enjoyed his role”.

He explained how he tries to keep positive in his art, telling The Evening Standard in Nov. 2019, “It’s very easy to have negative thoughts about yourself, especially if you’re doing music or acting or modeling, and at the end of the day, if you speak to someone about it — a mate or a family member, someone you trust — you automatically feel like a weight’s been taken off your shoulder.”

“I’m just aware at the moment that whilst I keep an eye, he wants to lay his own path and do his own thing. I’m trying to give him the space to do that, because of the natural desire to feel one is individual and independent of one’s parents.”
