Jodie Turner-Smith: Photos — Jodie-Turner Smith, born Sep. 7, 1986 in Peterborough, England, is a British model-turned-actress.

She lived in the UK until she was 10, before moving to the US and attending University of Pittsburgh, where she studied finance. Upon the suggestion of Pharell Williams, she moved to LA to start a modeling career. Her first on-screen role was in a 2013 episode of the vampire drama ‘True Blood’. After numerous roles, Jodie had her breakout gig on the TNT show ‘The Last Ship’ in 2017. She earned critical acclaim for her work on tk ‘Queen & Slim’ opposite Daniel Kaluyaa in 2019. Most recently, she appeared in the Noah Baumbach adaptation of the novel ‘White Noise’.

Jodie is a mother-of-one. She and husband Joshua Jackson welcomed a daughter in April 2020
