She is also an entrepreneur, author and television personality, as well as the creator of The Fitness App by Jillian Michaels. The Los Angeles native quickly grew to fame as a coach on the reality program ‘Biggest Loser’.

After opening the sports medicine facility Sky Sport & Spa in Beverly Hills in 2002, Jillian went on to have two of her own reality shows. In 2010, she starred in the ‘Biggest Loser’ spin-off ‘Losing It with Jillian,’ while ‘Just Jillian’ premiered on E! in 2016.

The health guru shares daughter Lukensia, 11, and son Phoenix, 9, with her ex-fiancée Heidi Rhoade, whom she split from in 2018. Jillian adopted Lukensia from Haiti in May 2012, while the former couple welcomed Phoenix that same month and year. Jillian has more recently been dating fashion designer DeShanna Marie Minuto. In November of 2021, Jillian announced her engagement to DeShanna, revealing she popped the question with a 7-carat sparkler.
