Jenni Rivera — Jenni Rivera was a critically-acclaimed Latin-music singer-songwriter. Throughout her career, she released thirteen albums, starting with her debut album Si Quieres Verme Llorar in 1999. Her final pair of albums Joyas Prestadas: Banda and Joyas Prestadas: Pop came out in 2011. Throughout her life she was married three times. She was wed to her first husband José Trinidad Marín from 1984 to 1992. She was married to Juan López from 1997 to 2003, and her final husband was Esteban Loaiza from 2010 until her death in 2012.

On December 9, 2012, she died in a plane crash in Mexico. She was 43-years-old. Following her death, she’s had two posthumous compilations released. She was survived by her five children: Chiquis, Jacqueline, Michael, Jenicka, and Johnny. Many of her children have followed in their mom’s footsteps and pursued their own careers in the arts and music.
