Jenna Marbles is one of the most recognizable names on YouTube, and one of the first creators to achieve viral fame through the video platform. In 2010, her upload “How To Trick People Into Thinking You’re Good Looking” was met with millions of views within its first week of release, setting the tone for the rest of her successful YouTube career. Videos like “How To Avoid Talking To People You Don’t Want To Talk To,” “Drunk Makeup Tutorial,” and “I Hate Being A Grown Up” drew countless subscribers that grew to a total of more than 20 million subscribers. Fans also loved to watch videos of her Italian greyhounds and her boyfriend, Julien Solomita.
With her established presence on YouTube, Jenna shocked the Internet when she suddenly quit the video platform in June of 2020. She apologized for past controversial videos, and wasn’t sure if she’d be leaving her channel “forever.”
