Jennifer Lopez and fiance Alex Rodriguez are all smiles while holding hands during an outing in New York City in early April of 2019. The couple began dating in the winter of 2017 and quickly became inseparable. Alex finally proposed to JLo in a romantic beach setting at sunset in the Bahamas on March 9, 2019. He got down on one knee and presented her with a 15 carat diamond engagement ring. During an April 16 appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’ Alex explained, ‘”I planned it for about six months and it was on a beach in the Bahamas. I had the ring, but what was interesting is the three days prior to me going down on one knee and getting engaged, was I rehearsed three days in a row.’ He added, ‘I wanted the sunset to be perfect. I had my assistant with me. One time the sunset was at 6.27 p.m. The next day, 6.29 p.m. and then the third day it was raining. So, I came out at around 6.29 p.m. and it worked out well.’
