2022 NAACP Image Awards

2022 NAACP Image Awards — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, accept the President’s Award at the 53rd NAACP Image Awards Show at The Switch on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Burbank, CA. The royals also publicly supported Ukraine amid Russia’s unprovoked attack.

The in-person award show followed a several day long virtual experience. Major A-Listers were in attendance, several of whom won big awards including Jennifer Hudson in the Entertainer of the Year and Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture category for film “Respect”. Will Smith also earned a trophy in the Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture category for “King Richard” alongside Issa Rae in the Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her popular series “Insecure.”
