Iman: Photos Through The Years — Iman Abdulmajid is a Somali supermodel, actress, and icon of the 80s and 90s. The statuesque stunner was born Zara Mohamed Abdulmajid on July 25, 1955 and almost instantly a fashion legend after being discovered while in college in Kenya.

She was the muse of many prominent fashion designers, inspiring the likes of Gianni Versace, Thierry Mugler, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, and Yves Saint Laurent. Iman was married to rock musician David Bowie from 1992 until his death in 2016. They had a daughter, Alexandria, and Iman was stepmom to the rocker’s first child, Duncan.
