Giuliana, who is best known for her work on the E! network, including as a host on E! News from 2005-2015 and again in 2018-2019, and Bill dated before getting engaged in Dec. 2006. They married less than a year later in Sept. 2007 in a ceremony on Capri at Sancta Sophia Church in Anacapri.

Soon after their marriage, they tried to conceive a child but were having trouble and it led to a miscarriage in 2010. The couple was open about their fertility issues with the public before they decided to opt for having a child via gestational surrogate. Their son, Duke, was born in Aug. 2012 due to the success of the option.
