‘Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas’ is a new Freeform holiday movie that premiered Dec. 4. The film tells the quirky and heart-warming story of Jess (Aisha Dee), who goes on the greatest first date of her life, but inadvertently “ghosts” Ben (Kendrick Sampson) when she tragically dies in a car accident on the way home. Stuck on Earth with no idea how to ascend, Jess will need the help of her best friend Kara (Kimiko Glenn), the only person who can still see and hear her. Every holiday movie, for the most part, has a great love story. Even though the movie starts with a death, there’s still a happy ending for Ben and Jess in the afterlife. This movie also explores the power of female friendships. ‘Ghosting’ is currently available to stream on the Freeform app and on Hulu.
