Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling met and fell in love while working on the 2012 film, ‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ with Bradley Cooper. The couple went on to have two daughters together – Esmeralda and Amada, who were born in 2014 and 2016 respectively. The two have been extremely private about their relationship, and although there have been various marriage reports over the year, they have not confirmed whether or not they ever tied the knot. Before they became a couple, the Miami-born actress shared her views on marriage with HollywoodLife in a 2011 interview. ‘It’s nothing negative when I say that [I don’t believe in marriage],’ she told us at the ‘Last Night’ premiere. ‘I just don’t think marriage is necessary, as necessary as society makes it.’ She added, ‘And I don’t have a negative point of view on it.
