Ella Mai — Ella Mai is an English singer who began her career while attending the British & Irish Modern Music Institute in 2014. Ella auditioned for season 11 of ‘The X-Factor’ in a trio, but did not move on past auditions. She released her first EP via SoundCloud in 2015 and began making music consistently. After being discovered on social media, Ella was signed to her first record label.

Ella’s self-titled debut album came out in October 2018, followed by a second album in May 2022. Some of her notable songs include “Trip” and “Boo’d Up.” Ella won a Grammy Award for “Boo’d Up” in 2019, as well. She has also won at the Billboard Music Awards.
