But wait, there are many, many more who launched their careers on The Disney Channel. Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale are still known worldwide for their turns in the ‘High School Musical’ television movies. Selena Gomez, who has since gone on to make huge movies and sold millions of copies, starred on the hit show ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ beginning in 2007.
