Daniel Skye’s journey to stardom is unlike many others. The 19-year-old rose to fame after he posted videos of him singing on the internet similar to what Justin Bieber did many years ago. The Florida native covered popular songs on his Instagram account, which boasts a hefty 2 million followers, in 15-second snippets that caught the eyes of many online.
Over the past six years he’s released singles featuring other notables including Cameron Dallas and the late rapper XXXtentacion. One of his songs, “We Got Us”, notched almost 6 million streams on Spotify while another, the 2016 track “Smile”, netted six million views for its music video on YouTube.
He’s also found success on the tour circuit. Daniel participated in the 2015 DigiFest Tour with major names like Demi Lovato, Magcon and Sunsation. He later went on tour two years later with pop singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha.
