D Smoke is the first-ever winner of the Netflix music competition series ‘Rhythm + Flow.’ He beat out scores of coveted artists for the top prize. Judges Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and T.I. were the ones to crown D Smoke the winner of season 1. Just one day after his big win, D Smoke released a new 7-song EP titled ‘Inglewood High.’ He’s also got another 15-song EP planned in the near future. During his interview with HollywoodLife, he revealed that he’s still in contact with the judges and there are ‘some collaborations in the works.’ Before his incredible win, D Smoke was a Spanish and music theory teacher at Inglewood High School in California.
