Christina Ricci has been one of our favorite stars for decades. Celebrate her birthday with a look back at her life and career in photos.

Christina Ricci, born on February 12, 1980, is a veteran actress, who brings a delightful touch of darkness to all her roles. Christina got into Hollywood when she was just nine, making her debut in Mermaids, opposite Wynona Ryder and Cher. Her breakout role would be as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993), roles that cemented her status as a rising star.

At 17, Christina transitioned effortlessly into more mature roles with The Ice Storm (1997) and went on to star in independent films like The Opposite of Sex (1998), and Monster (2003), as well as bigger projects like Sleepy Hollow (1999), 200 Cigarettes (1999), and Speed Racer (2008).

When she’s not gracing the big screen, Ricci is a television powerhouse, having appeared in shows like Ally McBeal (2002), Grey’s Anatomy (2006), and Pan Am (2011-2012.) She did double duty as a producer and star in both The Lizzie Borden Chronicles (2015) and Z: The Beginning of Everything (2017). Currently, Christina stars in the critically acclaimed Showtime series Yellowjackets (2021.)
