Chris Cornell: A Life In Photos — An icon remembered. Chris Cornell, born July 20, 1964, was a guitarist and singer best known for the bands Soundgarden and Audioslave. He is considered a key figure of the grunge movement, known for his powerful voice and extensive song catalog. Chris was a three time Grammy winner and sold over 30 million records worldwide, over all of his projects.

Sadly Chris battled depression through his life and was found dead by hanging in his Detroit hotel room on May 18, 2017, after performing at a Soundgarden concert. He was 52.
