Cardi and Offset dating rumors first started around the same time the two rappers collaborated on the song ‘Lick’ together in 2016. Offset eventually told ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine that he met Cardi after getting his publicist to set up a dinner in New York with a group of women that included her in early 2017 and by Feb. 2017, they were seen holding hands for the first time at the Super Bowl.
Cardi began posting videos of her and the Migos rapper to her social media, further proving that they were definitely more than just friends. The two initially denied relationship rumors, however, even though they were still seen together. After a telling birthday post from Offset to Cardi in Oct. 2017, Cardi claimed she was single but the two were still seen together.
The two continued to prove they were together with actions in 2018, and by Apr. of that year, Cardi revealed her baby bump during her performance on ‘SNL’. She gave birth to their daughter, Kulture, in July and the duo revealed that they were secretly married in Sept. 2017. They broke things off shortly after Kulture’s birth in Dec. but Offset seemed to win back Cardi’s affection by 2019.
