Beyonce’s Coachella Performance — Beyonce stunned on-stage at her 2018 Coachella Music Festival performance in Indio, California. Her husband, Jay-Z made a surprise performance at one point, and that wasn’t all the singer had up her sleeve.

The show-stopping performance also included a reunion from Destiny’s Child. Viewers from across the globe were sure to tune into the performance, which paid homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities. The meaningful set even broke records with its streaming numbers. The performance garnered more than 41 million live viewers at the time. On April 8 2019, Beyonce announced a new documentary chronicling the performance. The film, in partnership with Netflix, is called ‘Homecoming.’ It “presents an intimate look at Beyoncé’s historic 2018 Coachella performance that paid homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities,” according to a press release. The new documentary premieres on Netflix on April 17, and features behind the scenes look of her performance preparation.
