The holiday is held every December 31 and is a time to celebrate surviving yet another 365 days. It is usually celebrated at evening parties, in which friends and loved ones gather to dance, drink, and light fireworks.
And, we mean, c’mon, Mariah Carey practically invented Christmas (and maybe the entire holiday season) so it’s only fair that she come out and help us all celebrate the new year every year in her sparkly dresses, icy accessories, and picture-perfect hair.
