Awkwafina — Awkwafina is definitely a name to remember! She has been making nothing but big moves in the entertainment industry so far.

If the name sounds familiar, it is because you’ve probably seen her in fan-favorite films, such Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising (2016), Ocean’s 8 (2018), Crazy Rich Asians (2018), and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019).

Additionally, she played a leading role in the comedy-drama The Farewell in 2019, for which she won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture. This was a special moment in Hollywood history, as the talented actress became the first ever woman of Asian descent to win a Golden Globe in any lead actress film category.

And for some more fun facts, she even does some rapping on the side! In 2012, her comedic song “My Vag” went viral. In 2014, she dropped her solo hip-hop album Yellow Ranger, which consisted of 11 tracks, such as “Queef” and “NYC Bitche$”.
